Harmeny accepts the extensive research evidence which suggests that intensive early intervention makes a difference to the life chances of children and can lead to better long term outcomes.
We have a project team dedicated to working with external agencies in order to develop practice in this area.
We work in mainstream schools and in family homes and offer an individualised focused programme of intervention supporting existing workers. Specialist resources have been developed on the Harmeny campus to support individual child and family work. We have already worked successfully with West Lothian council in developing this service.
