Developing a Culture of Ambition and Achievement
Harmeny is an established centre for learning and development in the fields of social care and education. The Learning Culture we have established in Harmeny underpins all our work.
We are an SQA approved centre for the provision of a range of vocational awards up to level 4 of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). These awards are in Social Care, Education and Child Care, Outdoor Education and Administration. We are also approved to deliver the HNC in Health and Social Care.
All our Education, Social Work and Social Care staff are registered with their relevant professional body.
We contribute to the development of other organisations and can provide tailor made training in a range of intervention methods including:
- Solution Focused and Strengths Based Practice in Education and Social Care
- Application of Attachment Frameworks in Residential Child Care
