We had a wonderful feast of activities and food to celebrate the Bard’s birthday on 25 January.
The haggis was piped in by a pupil from Balerno High, and following a hilarious rendition of ‘Tae A Haggis’, we enjoyed traditional Burns fare.
Children showcased their talents through poetry, sketches and jokes and we all joined in with some traditional songs.Even Rabbie would have been impressed with our rousing version of ‘Ye Cannae Shove Yer Granny’. . . complete with actions of course!
