Latest Appeal News

Over a third of our target now raised!

We’re delighted that £800,000 has been raised so far and are hugely grateful for everyone’s support so far.

This has allowed us to complete the first stage of our Appeal and provide our children with space to relax through the extension of our Holly and Hawthorn Cottages.

Now we are focused on achieving stage two: raising £1.9million to build our new Outdoor Centre and Learning Hub. We have raised 25% of this total so far – can you help us reach our goal?

To find out more about how you can help us achieve this please click here, sign up to fundraise for Harmeny here or get in touch on 0131 449 3938 or fundraising@harmeny.org.uk

Join the KiltWalk team this September at the Edinburgh KiltWalk

We’re taking part in the Edinburgh KiltWalk on 15 September and would love you to join us to raise funds for the Appeal – no minimum sponsorship required and we’ll provide you with a Harmeny t-shirt and sponsor forms too.

Everest has been conquered in aid of Harmeny!

This April, former British Judo #1 Marc Preston, Jiu Jitsu World Champion Rick Young, Edinburgh Builder Bruce Collie and former finance director Alan Sinclair completed the three-week trek to Everest Base Camp (18,000ft above sea level) to raise funds for Harmeny Education Trust. Read more about their story and donate online here.

Go to heights for Harmeny – 2019 places sold out!

You don’t need to trek to 18,000ft to support the appeal – why not abseil 165ft off the Forth Rail Bridge instead? We have now sold out of our limited places available in this exhilarating event but you can register your interest for 2020 – find out more here
